CTL’s Artful Reading (AR) curriculum integrates the arts into literacy instruction while meeting both National Arts and Literacy standards. Artful Reading promotes a thoughtful approach to reading, writing, speaking, and listening by utilizing high-interest and varied texts, arts materials, and lesson plans. It engages students in visual arts, dance, music, and drama experiences to make more powerful literacy connections.

KYVL allows students from K-12 to graduate level access to a wide variety of newspaper, encyclopedia, magazine, and scholarly /academic journal articles. KYVL includes other tools such as Novelist, a database designed to help library users better choose recreational reading for themselves.

To access this website outside the library you will need to first ask a staff member for the User ID and Password or call the library (at 744-5661) to receive them. Once you have these, you can click on the button above.

Fiero Code, available through the school library, is a learn-to-code software program designed for students just like you. Through fun and exciting activities, you can learn coding languages such as: Scratch, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, SQL.

TumbleBookLibrary is a curated database of children’s e-books that has over 1100 titles for grades K-6, and includes our unique animated, talking picture books, read-along chapter books, non fiction books and videos, curated playlists, as well as books in Spanish and French. Plus, the collection features Graphic Novels – a student favorite!

ABCya provides over 300 fun and educational games for grades PreK through 6. Our activities are designed by parents and educators, who understand that children learn better if they are having fun. Games are categorized by grade and subject, and cover topics such as multiplication, parts of speech, typing, pattern recognition, and more. With so much variety, there is sure to be something for kids at all learning levels and styles.
