Recurring Adult Programs
We are happy to provide a variety of longstanding programs for adults at the library! See our calendar more details and information on other library events.
Book Club
Our Pageturners Book Group meets twice monthly on the second and fourth Mondays of every month at 11 AM in our Rosemary Brooks Community Room. Our books are selected by our book club members and staff participants. Genres and ages vary, but we mostly focus on newer popular literary fiction, mysteries and thrillers. All are welcome, and books are available to be picked up at the circulation desk.
Movies
Weekly movies are shown for adults every Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the Rosemary Brooks Community Room. Popcorn, candy, and drinks are provided. The movies are chosen by our patrons and librarians, and are often seasonal. A mix of newer and classic movies are shown, so there's something for everyone!
Classic Sci-Fi Cinema is held on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM.
Ron Kibbey's Comedy Classics also take place on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM. Always preceded by a vintage cartoon, these classic films showcase a wide variety of comedy from the golden age of Hollywood.
Quilters Group
Join fellow quilters and needle artists every Tuesday morning in the Board Room. The 1st and 3rd Tuesday will focus on quilting; the 2nd and 4th will focus on needle arts. Bring your own project to work on and benefit from the knowledge of other patrons!
